Linda Cupitt, Founder and Manager
Linda is a business and communications consultant, specialising in the management of not-for-profit organisations and community development projects.
Over the past 10 years, Linda has led and managed peak organisations in the arts, disability, health, primary production and built environment sectors, bringing innovative business partner strategies and establishing best practice governance models to enable professional communities of practice.
Her community development work has been equally diverse, from establishing a Queensland wide small business OHS model for nurseries and bakeries, to developing Queensland’s first value-grid compensation framework in fisheries, and developing a strategy for early invention for children with Autism living in rural and remote Queensland.
Linda has successfully secured over $3 million in philanthropic and grant funding towards grass-roots community development projects in Queensland and Australia.
Linda is currently the Executive Officer of the Urban Design Alliance Qld, and is a volunteer Board Director for Aid for the Blind, and Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Qld.
Her driving passion is with mental health, in particular youth mental health, and creating an inclusive built and social environment for this growing health epidemic. As a mother of 2 teenage children, Linda knows first hand challenges faced by our next generation and is passionate about creating change today, starting with the 7 Senses Street Day.
